It's not how fast I can read it just I use a 72" TV so I can't watch and read at the same time because my TV is so damn big. I don't really care about the voice acting. I kind of like sub because it's better because they will say stuff like fuck you and bitch and in english dub they don't.

That's not all usually with the swears, the dubs sometimes totally change the original words around.
That's why I like subs better. Japanese voices just go way better with Anime in my opinion anyway.
The English voices all sound fucking retarded, like they're trying to hard to sound cool whereas the Japanese voices seem to flow naturally.

It like how when translated literally word for word, spanish translations seem fucked up grammatically. Naturally or forced depends on the show and the voice actors in the first place. I know plenty of shows that the dubs would almost sound better than their original voices, its just how they are saying it seems funny because you wouldn't say something like that in english.

I also despise subtitles for some reason. I usually remux all of my... ehm... borrowed movies to take out the subs. Hard-coded subs for the foreign parts of a movie, otherwise none.

I prefer dubs with subs. I enjoy reading how it's meant to be but I also like to hear a language I understand. When I listen to a language I don't understand I become disinterested. Fuck it, time to learn Japanese.
