Mining with your CPU is bad and absolutely not effective


Mining with an Nvidia card gives you average speed


Mining with an AMD card works at fastest (still not as fast as you think)

You would loose more in electricity Bill than you would make in bitcoins. only profitable on countries where electricity is cheap, and the profit isn't even considerable if you only have one machine. It's funded by electricity companies who in turn make billions off people running the mining programs.

Only way to make good money is to go to a third world country with cheap computers. Connect bicycles to computers, so it runs on manpowered electricity. Pay employee 1 dollar a day. Get rich while doing nothing.


Other then that wast of time and money. I also seen some post about people saying this has burned up there GFX cards.

The people who burnt out their cards only did so because they attempted to mine more bitcoins by OC'ing it past what it can do. Mining bitcoins isn't that intensive on the GPU, as the GPU only needs to workout calculations and not draw matrices, rendering etc. It's only resource intensive if you don't know how to set it up properly. You can easily divert the electricity costs by using a microcontroller with the NVidia Tegra 3 built in GPU/CPU for a fraction of the usage of a full computer. I have four microcontrollers with the Samsung Exynos 4 mining my bitcoins, I get about one bitcoin every two weeks, and it takes less power than my cell phone to run a bare bones linux OS with a miner.
