This is brain washing
They look beautiful.
This is brain washing
Most likely ignored since our eyes are only capable of detecting the wavelengths of "visible light"
Most likely because that's merely a hypothesis
Using machines, probably not. But with genetic engineering, possible since we should be able to transfer the DNA of the mantis shrimp to our DNA
Hypothetical also since our genetic engineering is still in development
Yes, our eyes are only capable a certain wavelength, but I mean.
This might come out wrong but whatever, the human eye sees about 70 frames per second but we have created cameras that are capable of recording/viewing so much faster, rendering a smoother view for us.
So by that logic I think it would be possible to somehow create an "eye" that allows us to see more FPS and greater wavelengths - I mean we have almost cured blindness, aids and a lot of other "defects".
So in theory it would be possible I think.
My only worry is that the brain wont be able to process it.
w0w that is amazing and awesome

Since the frames are being shown at thousands per second, it allows us to see more at one time, thus giving us a smoother view
Yea, I said genetic engineering should make it possible
Our brain > super computers so we should be able to adapt, plus if you're born with it you'd be used to it since those are what you've always seen
OMG I want to meet one
10 points for bumping a thread
