Aeria's Banning Policy

Just when I think I understand it, they do something that makes me have to start back at square one.

Things I know about them so far:
-Can't ban you for using UAV hacks
-Can't ban you for aimbot screentilt sideeffect
-Can't ban you if there is any kind of modification done to a video or screenshot
......-Includes if you add a watermark
......-Explains why Punisher lasted for so long
-For some reason they won't ban proof of hacking if the screenshot is in F12
-Don't ban for being solo in any kind of coop room with the round number cycling (Round skipping)


For the last one, I've been screwing around with private hacks in rooms without using antikick. I get reported by users, I get screenshotted by users, there's even a few videos of me hacking up
But they haven't banned that account yet, simply because I hack with F12.

Someone please tell me I'm wrong about this I really hope Aeria isn't this messed up

Well here this might clear things up for you. The following is quoted right from Aeria's webpage. It is what you agree to when you create an account with Aeria.

13. You may not modify any part of the Game Client, Server or any part of the Game.
14. You will not attempt to interfere with, hack into, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the Game.
15. You will not exploit any bug in the Game and you will not communicate the existence of any such exploitable bug or "hack"(bugs that grant the user unnatural or unintended benefits in game), either directly or indirectly, to any other Game player. You will promptly report any such bug via official and prescribed channels to Aeria Games & Entertainment.
16. You will not operate any software that interferes with, or interacts with the game in such a manner as to provide an advantage to the user.

They really don't follow it to finer details. If a hack looks like it could be part of the game, they can't ban for it.

It's not called a UAV; it's a wallhack or chams, whichever you call is up to preference.

Calling it UAV is an insult to their coder.

i have to admit, i do agree. I know alot of friends that hack in their mains, get reported and have never been banned.
