&&2 disabled! &&1 does not have the map pack!

I am getting this error when I click the "Play" button on IW5M. I cannot create any classes and its really annoying. I have all the map packs installed and deleting caches.xml does not fix the problem. The file (caches.xml) is not even in my modern warfare 3 folder in steam and I still get this error. I can play the game normally and all but I just cant modify my classes Any help?

Firstly, delete cashe.xml and then run LaunchIW5M.exe. If you do downgrade to R25, just repeat the process.

As I said "deleting caches.xml does not fix the problem." I added screenshots. Somebody approve?

Well, Twixtor48, all you need to do is update the game. Get the LaunchIW5M.exe and run it. Should fix things. Else, reinstall the game.

There's something wrong with the game's content, try this, you must have used a hack that has changed the games content, try the following.

Highlight everything in your MW3 folder except those I have highlighted in the following picture, and press "delete". Make sure you press only delete and move them to recycle bin and NOT PERMANENTLY DELETE THEM!


After you've done that run LaunchIW5M as ADMIN, and it should download new content. After it has finished go to your recycle bin and click CTRL+A to select all then press enter and restore. Now run the game and you should be fine (had the same problem that's how I fixed it!) If it works for you get back to me by quoting this post. Good luck!
