This really depends on how sophisticated you want your hacks to be.

While knowing C++ definitely helps reverse engineering games written in exactly that language, you should also get familiar with your processor's assembly language (knowing IA-32 should be enough for starters, most games run on that architecture anyway).

I commend your knowledge, we don't have many"smart" choobs around, However this is a game hacking site.. The programming forums aren't extremely active, people here mostly want to learn the languages for the hacking side.

This is the exact reason why most of those people wanting to hack games will never succeed.

Most of them jump straight into the quite advanced topic of hacking games, without having any solid programming background at all, nevermind experience developing software for a windows system.
