Never really went for the look of lowering a vehicle, but this tutorial should come in handy, unless I get a vehicle that is from a perspective on a floor.
the same method would work from a floor view just require you bring the selection out slightly to allow for the face you would still see underneath

Only works on an image with a plain background but hey it works i guess.
War does not determine who is right- only who is left.
its possible to keep the same bg just you must trace a line that can be moved without causing a problem, eg a the bottom of a road.
most tend to replace the car on a diffrent bg after completeing the project.
i myself create the background for easy, i find a image of marble or some other kind of smooth surface and change the perspective to match with the car
then slide a city scape behind the layer.
