i have decided to make a $1000 gaming build...... i dont know if i should go with amd build or intel but i kinda like amd more for some reason. give me a great mobo i can start with then ill gather the rest. just dont know were to start with mobo's...

Intel or AMD? Well, personally, I would go with Intel, ONLY because I am familiar with the Intel processors. AMD looks like it has a wider variety, but it seems more confusing to me, since I am not aware with the different AMD hardware.

I'd go with AMD just because I've always been with them (except for laptops I've had) AMD would definitely be better for money but if you have the money you shuld go for intel. Also, you have o choose your cpu before you choose the mobo since the sockets are different

Go Intel for better performance. That and an ASUS P8Z77 Deluxe mobo would do you good.
