That's just stupid.

You spent money to RENEW guns, when you'll eventually RENEW them again, for MORE money, eventually you spend $50 renewing a gun you could have had perm for $25.

I somewhat agree with you but He didn't said what gun he was renewing,
If the gun is not in the shop he has no choice but to renew it,
If the gun is available in the shop for perm and you renew it thats stupid actually.

Only time I buy NX is when I know I'm getting a perm. It's a huge waste to get something for a short amount of time. Because I just know SOMETHING will come up and then I won't be able to use it.

My bad, But to be honest renewing a weapon when you can get it from the shop for perm is pure stupid no offense to the thread owner.
