Dub or Sub?

At first I always preferred dubs. Some dubs still qualify as very high quality to this day (death note is not a bad example) however after a long while I can say with a lot of confidence subs are deffinitely the way to go.

Sub in most cases, but not all the time.

Take DBZ for example, I fucking love the (Funimation) dub, and I hate the sub. But in most cases, Sub > Dub.

You feel the characters emotions more.


Whereas in Dub.. the english voice actors screw it over.

Subs, Their voices just seem to match the character most of the time while dubs just sound awkward and weird to me.

Dub is ok, but its anime dependent. Most dubs(the majority) suck ass.

Sub is synced better and follows the characters animations better in general. Dub feels forced.

I second to this. I prefer sub.

Clannad probably the one I thought I was least to like but for some reason I love it.

But I was bored so I was looking at the netflix account from general to see what they have on and I seen clannad and the voices were terrible so much so that I actually prefer a fandub I heard before.

Have you seen the original Hellsing? The dub was just PATHETIC. I stopped after one episode and watched Ultimate.

The original hellsing was fine, the anime itself just wasn't much since halfway it went into weirdoville.

I watched the japanese version, I never bother looking at the Dub but in this case i was bored and seeing what netflix had and i seen clanned so i figured i would watch a few episodes.

I meant to watch ultimate but forgot.

Dubs just make it sound awkward.. and usually the voices suck.
