KrazyServer v2.0

Info:
This is a program designed to run the MMOEmpire Server quite easily!
There is NO NEED to set up anything! This program comes with:

• A portable, preconfigured version of mySQL ready to use
• SWF Client for connecting
• The server itself

This version has all the source files so you can properly edit and rebuild the server. O3 has not been added!

YOU MUST UNINSTALL MYSQL OR DISABLE THE MYSQL SERVICE FOR THIS TO WORK!
THIS WILL MOST LIKELY NOT WORK ON NON-ENGLISH SYSTEMS

HOW TO DOWNLOAD PROPERLY:

1. Download KrazyServer v2.rar and localhost.rar
2. Extract _Server from KrazyServer v2.rar
3. Extract localhost.swf from localhost.rar and place it INSIDE _Server
4. DONE - Run KrazyServer v2.exe and have fun!

IF YOU CANNOT FIX A CRASH, UPLOAD THE CRASH LOG FILE PLACED ON YOUR DESKTOP

 

• Error explanations/tips are not very accurate due to the sheer amount of possible casues for each error
• Item spawner may not properly send the command
• Import function replaces wServer and Server.exe so some custom servers may not work without modification

 

1. Create a .ZIP file and inside place the server project root. (same structure as rotmg_server-master.zip)
2. Open the settings menu on KrazyServer
3. Browse to your .ZIP file and click import

If your server that you are importing has modifications done to server and/or wServer, know that those files will be over-written so your server may not work. (Replacing server.exe is normally never a problem).
To fix your own wServer.exe:

1. Open your project in Visual Studio. (If you are opening the project file in the _rServer folder, backup 'server.exe' first!)
2. Navagate to the "wServer" sub-project
3. From there, go to the "realm" folder, then double click 'RealmManager.cs'.
4. Scroll down to line 121 and delete the code highlighted in the picture below.
5. Then Go to the build tab and 'Rebuild All'.
6. If you rebuilt the project found in '_rServer', replace the newly generated server.exe with the one you backed up.
7. Finally, if you built the server from your own project files, replace the wServer.exe in the '_rServer' directory with the newly built one.

Hope this approved when i get home tomorrow, also anyone that can make a video on how to server host with this version, I've been trying things all day to no avail. Changed client ip in yogda, changed the dns ip and still nothing so any help would be greatly appreciated.

did you recompile the server after you changed the DNS? Also are you portforwarding or using hamachi?

You have to compile it for the DNS changes to take affect.

ffffff well heres where i run into a problem, i cant download Visual C# 2010 Express because im using win xp sp2 but i need sp3, so anything else i can use to compile it?

No but i'm working on that.
Main wall i've hit is that I need to modify wServer.exe for it to be compatible.
Perhaps if you permanently remove the code as shown in the "Properly importing a server" spoiler (it's useless anyway) I could get it to be stable.

After messing around with your previous server thing, gods in glands were dropping Mana potions etc, is that fixed?

Also, anyway it is possible to make your server work over LAN?

Like add 2 accounts instead of only the one, so I can play offline with a friend..
