One piece is alright in manga form. The anime, eh, not so much.(movies are good though). To each his own.

Honestly, watch Howl's Moving Castle in the dub, Christian Bale is one of the voice actors.

I dis-like OP, but that's for completely different reasons. Not watching these anime because they're "over-hyped" is fucking stupid. If anything (and I'm NOT saying this is the case), but IF anything, that would just mean they're so much better because more people like them.

Thinking in absolutes in general is dumb though, too reductive.

I can see why, maybe you would say: "They're REALLY fucking long and I don't want to get into them." That makes more sense. But: "They're bad because everyone knows about them." is you being a ****** hipster that's just trying to find all the "underrated" shit.

I agree with you, but I made a promise.
PS: I hardly watch moe, I just use them for my signature and profile pictures because they are just silly. They show no "oh I am a bad ass." or "I'm dark and emo" they just show nothing, they show I watch anime and have nothing serious about them lol.

But I agree with my friend, they are over-hyped, I watched a few episodes of Naruto and saw that every episode is just the same thing.

593, episode 594 comes out today. And you don't have to start at the beginning I'd recommend starting at the Thriller Bark Arc (around episode 200-300 i think)
