Let a woman learn in quietness with all subjection.
12 But I permit not a woman to teach, nor to have dominion over a man, but to be in quietness.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve;
14 and Adam was not beguiled, but the woman being beguiled hath fallen into transgression:
15 but she shall be saved through her child-bearing, if they continue in faith and love and sanctification with sobriety.
What do you guys think about that passage in scripture?
Any legitimacy?
Why should the man lead and the women follow or if not why?

There are verses from the bible that I have found to be inspirational. Just because you disagree with a religion, doesn't mean that you can't be inspired by what it teaches somewhat. I'm an Atheist, and I still read it occasionally. Not for any of the religious mumbojumbo but just some of the stories in it.
edit: But over all, not valid.

Needless to say not the greatest of moral teachings.
"We swallow greedily any lie that flatters us, but we sip only little by little at a truth we find bitter." ~ Denis Diderot
That point mentioned in the Qur'an as well.
/facepalm
How you conclude that from
"12 But I permit not a woman to teach, nor to have dominion over a man, but to be in quietness."
Is beyond me...

Context is always an issue, and also the old testament has some....questionable stuff.
Either way, I find it funny if you make that a not-valid point when humanity didn't permit that till very recently.
The bible also says that woman are equal to men.
What do you say to that?
It also seems that the bible knew that woman would be mistreated.
Hence the first "Let woman not be shackled."
Tbh this is taken out of context, the reason why this guy says this I think if I remember correctly from church or whatevers, is because in the place he was preaching and stuff women weren't allowed to go to school so they'd always preach bs because, men back then were pretty sexist and didn't educate their women.
