i've tried it before a long time ago was thinking of trying it again

The Good Stuff

Best community ever, better than the old EQ and ULtima Online communities. Pretty much the MOST lively economy in any game. Corporations are fun to rule and be a part of. Espionage and heists are rampant. So fucking easy to bankrupt corps if you have access to titties. Huge battles can take place (1000+ ships) that can go on for hours.


The bad stuff

Fucking slow as a glacier to start off with unless you got friend in a corp. Steep learning curve in terms of ship micro and avatar micro. Going solo gets really boring really quickly.

Unless you're playing with other people you know, pointless. Also terrible having to pay month to month.... really you won't be getting shit out of it as it gets boring pretty easily unless you are playing with other like minded people.

Anarchy Online's been running for 12 years now. They just had a massive server merge so it's not a barren landscape anymore.
