Hey guys, so it was my birthday recently and I have raked in about $600. So I was wondering how future-proof of a computer could I build with $600. Keep in mind that when I say futureproof, It should be able to run in full resolution with at least 60 frames per second on triple A titles such as BF4 or COD:Ghosts. If possible, please design a computer with a nVidia card, as most games are much more well optimized for nVidia rather than ATI (unless you can convince me in some way to get an ATI).

How exactly is it "skimping" out on the PSU? It's simply a lower wattage one, which he doesn't need a 600 watt PSU for a single GTX 660. He maybe would if he were to dual-SLI the GTX 660, I suppose.

There's a HUGE difference between low and high quality settings.

no not really, go test in BF3 and you will see. ultra settings vs low settings dont even make much difference on 1080p res, however switch the res to say 1024x768,

Well mine system is also low budget:

Intel 4x3.4 GHz
8GB RAM
GTX 660 non TI with 2GB

Runs Crysis 3 around 45-60 fps @high settings.
25-35 fps @Very high

You should probably buy a better GPU and RAM to be able to play that game
