Meh here is what i do, watch the anime. If the anime is interesting I buy the manga... not really bothering about how that will look. If there are any big boss fights in adventure series i buy those instead of buying "story" copies that drag on forever and just is a waste of money. Unless the story is told properly I tend to buy more copies or if so buy all the volumes IF its reasonable in price ofc.

Yeah I just read them online and then buy a copy if its there at the bookstore. Half the manga I read won't make it to the bookstore till 2-3 maybe even 5 years later, if they make it at all.
(also every now and then I buy them on amazon)

for me the nearest(10 km) only has 15 different series and some random misc manga's that they purchase at conventions.

2nd nearest store is +80km away and the third and rest +115km... too far away.

I can buy 2nd hand but that's not always that nice with the overall quality. + the opt. for online is almost out of the question as these have + 5 euro's each.
