If Al Gore was in office instead of him, do you honestly think we would be better off? He would have spent all of the countries funds for global warming which cannot be stopped because it happens naturally. You guys have completely forgotten all the bad things that presidents have done in the past now that bush did something wrong, you only care because your living through it.

His mistakes over-rided his 'good' that he did for the Country. Obama, amazingly is actually fighting, while George Bush said "Eh, lets just send more troops, long as I can have family with my kids tonight".

Was . He's doing what he has to do. He has removed TONS of troops, and just came across sending some back. Bush just said "Take 'em". Thinking he has actually helping. The War is what fucked 'em over. This is where he got all his mistakes. But some of his stupid mistakes, were followed by waiting so damn long to go into Iraq.

Bush waited far to long to invade Iraq. Once the decision had been reached to invade Iraq it should have been done as soon as practicable. The whole Weapons of Mass Destruction imbroglio with the UN was pursued to appease Tony Blair, who had promised to contribute significant forces, but it cost over a year of precious time. While it would have been necessary to indulge Blair if British forces were really necessary, the fact remains that they weren’t.

The US had plenty of soldiers to do the whole thing themselves. While nobody could have predicted that the Coalition would find such little evidence of WMD’s (all the world’s intelligence agencies were in agreement that Saddam had them, and indeed, it was a matter of historical record that he had used chemical weapons on his own people), what could have been easily predicted was that valuable time was unnecessarily wasted. Every day that the invasion of Iraq was delayed was another day when the embers at ground zero had cooled down a few more degrees, and another day that Saddam had to move his apocalyptic goodies to Syria. If you are going to go, go ASAP.
