Elitist talk about minority in their field, so do hipsters. I'm unfortunately not talking about a minority of shows, or a small amount, i'm talking about the majority(the VAST majority) of modern anime as a whole.

I'm saying naruto is the minority. Its one show that can't catch up to the rest of the current anime.

No, because I'm not trying to go around and say that I liked Naruto before anybody, or that Naruto is better than any other anime. The only thing I've ever claimed is that Naruto is MY favorite anime. For some reason, it's hard for you to fathom other people NOT liking and/or having time for every anime in existence.

If you don't see how you share many resemblances with an elitist, I don't know what to tell you.

Oh, I never told you that you should be paying for Naruto. I mean, Kishimoto is making enough already. Not to mention some things (like the games) are harder to get for free, so he'll get your money from there anyways. I wouldn't really pay for the manga or anime at this point.

Plus, please don't fucking compare CoD to Naruto, ever.

Well that's because the anime can't go past the manga, it wouldn't really make sense, they would still have to either make fillers or just stop in general. (Like Bleach, Fairy Tail, etc.)

The DBZ anime went past the manga for a bit, shit did not go well.

Those anime don't have a weekly spot on TV though, Naruto does.

And if they do, they have off-seasons. Which is almost the same thing as a filler. I know that you think the animation quality would go up if they spent more time making the episode instead of making fillers, but meh.

Its fact......

The reason anime are run in seasons is so that they have better quality and can actually sell their dvd copies. Its the same with tv shows too, they tend to make the episodes months before and release them. Very(very) rarely are they working by the week to produce an episode.
-The reason most shows don't have weekly is for a reason, except reality tv and news, most shows don't actually.

So why naruto? Well naruto does something most shows don't want to: sacrifice story, action, and entertainment to increase length.

Its something you'll see with a pre-set fanbase. Its sad because after naruto is over, people won't looks back too fondly or be able to re-watch it really. One of those "grab it while you can" things for kishi I guess.
