What do you guys think of my second ever photoshop work?

Yeah I know, it's only the second thing I have ever done in photoshop, so I had no idea what too do :U.

i may not be pepsi but i would suggest that you outline the Commander Shepard with red and make the red blur a little so he looks like one with the signature not as if hes just stuck on there also do the same with the words push them a little to the side so the c is not behind him and out line them with a strong yellow blur so it hits the reader and there like whoa didn't expect that it catches ones eye hope i helped

This would probably look good. The text is also pretty basic, but it doesn't look bad. Once you do add those effects, you might want to add something to the text as well.

How about you get rid of the outline, make it just one box, get rid of the yellow glow, and try to outline the guy. But, it's hard to say what will look good until I see it.

The thing i was getting at is the sig you had already i thought it would look good with the yellow on blue yellow on red as pepsi said kills it and the red outline of commander sheperd would have looked like he was ready to kick some ass

This one does look better, but if the guy is outlined, the text should be too. Not too sure if this would be good, but try round edges.

Doesn't look too bad. You have to make some decisions on your own and try other stuff, not just by what every single thing some one else says.
