    Depends on the contract you're given. They contacted me on apart of my participation within their community and me playing with their team for a long time. They recently kicked one of your AD players so that's the position I'd fill and I'd be more than happy to do it.
    Though, if I don't get paid, it'd be a joy to be apart of it. I'd participate in tournaments, go out of state, and just be with a group of competitive players. The only thing we've really talked about is the sponsorship and what my hours would have to be when it comes to practice and being online.

    edit;
    looks like most people don't get paid. The top teams, such as ROOT, the players get paid to stream for SMITE. (stream on Twitch.tv). That's about all the money you're actually paid. All other money they gain is usually from donations and merely just paid to fly out for tournaments.

    A few months ago there was a 10k invitational tournament. Good shit there. It was at PAX if any of you know what that is.

    Sounds fun.
    Rumor has it some high ranked LoL teams live in mansions and crap.
    Is that stuff true?
    What are the best benefits you can get?

    Well, I don't know about LoL. I just edited my post and really you're not paid due to the fact you can leave a team at any time, but being apart of a great team like that gives you benefits such as tournaments, going out of state, and probably gear. IE; a headset from them to represent them. Most of the people that do get paid are either from donations (as most of the top players stream on twitch) or from being paid to stream (such as some of the streamers on twitch.tv/smitepro)
