Hello, my MPGH username is Flengo. I don't play AVA so I'll answer a slightly modified version of your question just for fun anyway. Has the AVA section made recent progress? No it hasn't. All the ""coders"" here think they run everything and that they are the greatest. They aren't releasing hacks due to the mass number of leechers. There are many ways to stop users from editing your hacks. If you don't want them to be posted on other sites, then include advertisements to MPGH in them. Usually wont be allowed anywhere else.

All you guys do is sit around posting your previews and calling everyone a leecher. I used to make and release hacks because it was fun and nice to give back to the community. Simple hacks, VIP hacks, anything I could or felt like doing. See the contributor tag I have? That's how it got there.

TL;DR No AVA section hasn't made progress.

Howdy there, my MPGH username is oXParadoxXo, and I'm grateful to participate in this contest. I think A.V.A. has progressed since the ijji/Aeria merge, but I think that the rate at which it has been improving has been greatly diminished. I think Redduck's contract with ijji required them to put more effort into keeping the game maintained, and now Aeria is letting such a great game fall into the 'realm of forgotten games.' Just my 2¢.

My MPGH username is Fluxie!

I think that AVA has improved since Aeria, obviously, but it could've improved faster and much better. I'm used to the monthly updates from IJJI, where we'd get new weapons each month, which was quite exciting! Now we get monthly 'tiered spenders', 'loot wheels' and 'loyalty'-shit, aka spend 40$ for a timed reskin of a weapon/capsule, and for the loot wheels, spend 200$ to get a decent prize. Looking at it, we're so much behind, in IJJI times, it was 8 months flat, if you'd get .5 map, 2 capsules and a regular weapon each month, which was a nice speed. Now, we're behind for over a year, sure, Aeria can blame the transfer, but shouldn't they know that they could've done it much and much faster? It toke almost 4 months before the next update came, peeing our pants of excitement for the MG4KE.
I mean; AP loot wheel was great! That's like the euro jackpot, but AP. I really liked the whole idea of it, it makes you feel that you can win, but in fact; you'd almost never win, Aeria made a lot of money from that! They removed it, because it's 'unfair', like capsules are fair...

Also; we can't judge on AVA itself, since Red Duck develops that and they don't care about the Western communities, they listen to Korea, because they don't have as much 12 year old flaming kids as we have, which complain about every single thing and then proceed to beg for thanks/rep, etc. and the worst of it is that they don't have any proper arguments, they just say that .... sucks, without any reason. But the overall gameplay which RedDuck makes is great, AVA is still one of the best F2P FPS I've ever played, it sucks that they refuse to nerf the real OP weapons, such as AKS-74U Desmodus, XM8 and RX-4 Storm, it seems that they've stopped to care about the community after AKS-74U Desmodus, except for 'major Korean complains', which get a lot nerfed. For example, the OTs-14 Groza. That shit was OP, ignoring ALL armor. Pretty much used 24/7 in Korea when it wasn't nerfed.

I could write some more, but I don't think that you'd care to read a lot more, this is my 'core' of my arguments, I could think of some more minor arguments and/or improve my major arguments here, but I think that this is enough.



TL;DR. AVA has improved, Aeria's 'improvements' is bullshit, we can't blame Aeria for everything, Red Duck develops the game.

Well I think that Aeria have made progress with AVA but it's not nearly enough as what IJJI could and should have been. Even now I think that Aeria have not made enough progress as IJJI had. Anyway, that is just my view.

Has aeria improved ava: No. Since the merge I have experienced horrendous amounts of lag (200+ ping) where I had 30-50 ping with ijji.
Also their updated graphics reduced my fps by ~50 even on the lowest settings. In order to run the game almost as well as before I have to sacrifice what where decent graphics for abysmal ones. ijji had many more servers which allowed us to experience a virtually lag free game, and aeria just doesn't have nearly the same dedication.
