    Question CA=COD

I have a feeling that Combat Arms will slowly be formed into COD. The new CA trailer looks like COD, the JFC Suit or whatever they are, they look like COD. by the time it's prob phase 3 it will be like COD. i fink

you cant really say who copied who because they are the same type of games what they are going to release would somehow be related.

This ^-^ you can't expect a fps to be waaay different from some other fps. That's the
Whole reason why it's called a FIRST PERSON SHOOTER and there's only so far you can go with that.

Inspiration and copyright infringement are two entirely different things.

Remington could sue Nexon, because they use remington products in the Combat Arms game without a license to do so.

Magpul could sue Nexon because on the ACR (Aka Magpul Masada\Bushmaster ACR) is property of Magpul\Bushmaster, and on the ACR model it displays "FN Herstal" which is an entirely different weapons manufacturer.

    FN H. Makes the Scar-L, P90, FS\F200.

Sig Sauer produces the P226 series, the SG55X series.

Springfield armaments produces the, M21, M14, M1 Garand and a few other weapons.

The few guns that can't infringe on copyright are simply the ones with a broadened name such as:

"M4A1" which describes a variant of AR15. Which might infringe on Armalites copyright, not sure if Armalite let the AR15\AR10 become public domain though.

    See what im saying?

Nexon would have a licence for the manufactures weapons to be used in game! They wouldn't be that ignorant, therefore copyright is not the issue and inspiration or creativity of new content is what is turning the game into call of duty.

How do you know that they do not have a license to do so?

Because they're advertising other manufacturers on half the models. Like how I mentioned the ACR has FNHersta'ls logo on it (It even says "FN Herstal")
    @Justin

They're a big enough company (# 3 on the top F2p game producers I believe, with a worth of like 20 billion dollars or MORE) where they can just pay any fines. They're keeping it vague though, "M4A1" "M16A3"

So to my knowledge, you do need a license, and I don't see it being held up in the air while reading their TOS.

It's also free advertisement for weapons manufacturers.

You know the song "Doesn't matter, had sex"

"Doesn't matter, sued for 5 billion"

Its also false advertising. It's also illegal. It's also the fact 80% of people who play CA are liberal dipshits who vote yes for gun control but then go and kill 100 people in cod and CA.
