    Question Ableton or FruityLoops?

Hey everyone. I have been using FL for a while, and I just want to know which do you prefer. What does ableton have that FL doesent and vice versa. Also, kinda off-topic but does anyone know of a violin-like vst or how to reproduce the sound in FL? Thanks in advance.

I prefeer Ableton because it's the most userfriendly program, also I like the layout way more than FL,Reason,Cubase, etc..

Of course thats what im gonna do, but I want to try it out first so I decide whether to torrent it or not. It would be a waste of space and time if I didnt like it.

FL studio is really great for beginners in producing. I've been using fruity loops for a while now and its really fun and simple to use.

Agreed with this guy ^. I find it just fun to make simple things but it has potential to make great things.

Sorry for late post I've been using Fl Studios for 6 years now and it is a very great program! Of course it's for begginers, and it isn't industry standard like our friend Ableton, but like HurrLeDurr said it has great potential.

Please listen to tracks I made in Fl Studios 1storiginz dot tk

Thanks guys for your suggestions. I'll have to try out ableton to form an opinion, but your help is appreciated

Ableton is better for live performances and FL Studio is better for non-live performances. They're both very good software, but I personally like FL better.

Ableton because of the user friendly interface and good support. I also really like the live packs (I use suite) and Ableton Push makes it 50x better.
