This reminds me of a few weeks ago.

I went to 7-Eleven at around 10PM and some homeless looking ****** was standing there. Of course this would be the night I didn't bring my phone. (I go there a lot at night after work)

He was like "Hey brah, let me hollah at yah for a sec..." and I was like "What?"
He asked if I had any money for him to have a place to stay. I said no.
Then I asked if I had enough to buy him a 40oz. I said I only brought enough to get me a drink.
He just nodded and was like "Alright den"
I said I was sorry and walked in the store. He followed me and got a 40oz while I was checking out, he just walked past me and out the door. The cashier just looked at me and I was like "I should of went to the other 7-Eleven in town..."
I walked outside and he was sitting in my car. I was like ohshitohshitohshit I'm gonna die tonight...
I looked back and the cashier has done left the register; didn't see her anywhere.
Tonight I'm gonna meet my maker.
Slowly walked to the car and opened the door.
"Ay brah, you mind taking me to the apartments down the street"
I-I really can't. This isnt even my car...
"Its just down the street man help me out. I just got out of jail."
Welp, I'm dead..
I get in anyways, didn't put my seatbelt on and turned the radio off (country music) too look cool.
Driving down the road all silent. Drove by the school and just needed to start a conversation to calm my nerves. I ask him about his kids.
He starts talking about them. Didn't even list, was thinking about how he's gonna kill me.
Starts telling me where to go. All these backroads. I'm for sure gonna die.
End up telling me thats it. Was some dumpster by an old apartment complex.
Reaches out to shake my hand before he gets out of the car. I jump thinking he was trying to stab me or something.
Turns out he was just a poor homeless dude.

Kinda felt bad and realized how big of a racist I am.

I avoid all stores after 9PM now.
