I personally think the meaning of life is whatever you want it to be. A.K.A: Everyone keeps living for their own reasons.

I'll try and keep it short.
You wake up every morning to do the same shit over and over again so you don't have to do the same shit over and over again, if you're lucky you'll meet some cool people along the way, but's that's just it. Then you proceed to eventually get butt-fucked by society in such a manner that you kind of wish you never grew up and could've just kept watching those cartoons you so adored to watch when you were younger.

Until one day you are likely to realize that you've been living everything on repeat with only slight changes.
And don't you dare mentioning the butterfly effect, that just means this sadistic joke could get even worse, and it probably will.

I'll just leave it like that, I don't feel like elaborating more with this.

Like the jellyfish said there is no meaning to life, however the thing people tend to strive for is to be remembered so i would say the human given meaning to life is memories.
