    so..

    I got my contacts but have a few questions i forgot to ask my eye doctor..

    am i allowed to sleep in them and also allowed to shower in them?

    also i fucking love these thigns! i can see so much better!! its like the world is in HD!

    i took them out last night and put my glasses back on and was like holy shit! how did i see out of these things for 7 years..

    Some contacts let you sleep in them others don't. Although it's safe to just take them out.

    And yeah, glasses pissed me off.

    Depends which one's ou have. Not a lot of them let you sleep.
    Read the back label, it should say something there.

    well they are just trial contacts waiting for my prescription to come in, in 2 weeks but the ones i have now i can keep for 30 days.

    Do not wear them when sleeping or browsing the computer.
    WHen you sleep with them, there is a decent chance for you to have swollen eyes, and if you use them to browse the PC or something for a long time, your eyes might get worse.

    You can shower with them, as long as the lenses don't get in contact with the water.

    ahh okay, i think its best just for me to take them out at night.. i heard that oxygen doesnt get to the eye and when you make up it hurts like a motha fucka

    Unless specified by your optometrist or brand, I would not recommend sleeping in your contacts.

    That being said, I wear Acuvue Oasys contacts and sleep in them quite frequently. If anything, I'll have slight discomfort in the morning due to dryness. If you do decide to sleep in yours, I suggest you remove and rinse them at least every 3-4 days.

    I am not an optometrist, so take this with a grain of salt.
