Different graphics cards are better at different games, different graphics cards are made for different things. But if you want more bang for the buck sure go with the 7790.

my sapphire 7790 is a bit better then the regular one, and just ctrl+f and type in 7790 into the high end gpu charts.

Buy a different processor that is am3+ compatible the current processor you have is only am3, also get a ram that is DDR3 866(OC)/1800(OC)/1600(OC)/1333/1066.
