How to fix your stuttering and/or lagging issues by sacrificing some IG graphics

This tutorial is NOT made by me (but written by me). I found it from the offical GamersFirst forums, very down, abondoned and lonely thread.
As my computer is shit, this fixed my game from around 10 fps to a steady 30-60 fps, only sacrificing some elements of graphics. Having fun is more important than graphics. "Playing a game for graphics is like watching porn for its storyline".

Here we go:

First of all, you want to make sure ALL of your settings are turned to the minimal!
Then download the file attached to the post!

After you're done downloading the file, you want to go to the location where your APB Config files are. (C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\APB Reloaded\APBGame\Config).

You want to copy the downloaded file and paste it into the Config folder, replacing whatever there's to replace. (Making a backup of your original file is recommended).

Then you want to go to your Binaries folder where your APB.exe is. You need to make a shortcut from there to the desktop and ONLY USE THE .EXE NOT THE LAUNCHER. Since when you use the launcher, it seems to reset your graphic settings.

And that's it!

Removed world graffiti
Lowerd texture quality
Blurred textures
Changed the distance vehicles switch quality to 10m
Vehicles switch to even lower quality at 20m
Enabled texture compression
Lowered texture creation per frame from 10 to 2
Lowered Particles from 500000 to 5000

You can just post the link to the virus scan instead of taking a picture of it. Added in the virus scans for you and removed the images. Approved.

Hey man. I can't seem to launch the game with just the .exe
It shows the 1.11 series screen thingy and then closes and does nothing.

Any clue on what I should do? ( I'm using the Steam version, btw )

for any one who his game lagging and crash after 10 m download this and download MSI Afterburner it will make ur game work without lagging and crashing

I personally have no problems with this.
My client IS out-dated, but all I have to do is just launch it from the launcher and it will be updated. Then later just re-apply the file.
Easy as that.
