engine.exe i found out how to get it open in a debugger

YES !! the offsets At last...! also I broke hacksheild ( of sort of broke it's self lol ) I will be doing a tut on that later once I have taken all the Screen shots..

You can hide viruses in any suffix but this isnt an executable file meaning it won't do shit unless you execute it. It needs no virus scans so its all good.

so this means that you could somehow edit combatarms.exe so when you hit launch, it doesnt call hackshield? then engine.exe would start with no hackshield?

combat arms makes the first call to hshield, hshield then brings up engine exe

@corndog, I think it just gives a false message to engine that hsheild updated and ran successfully, while hsheild never did anything.
