To all who downloaded NrN's hack.

First off, I'd like to say sorry if anyone views this as a spam thread, and the mods may close this if necessary.

I've noticed a growing number of users either saying that NrN's hacks don't work, or it screwed up their computer.

Thanks to a Mouzie and a few other users, we've determined that his "hack" was a private hack. When injected, a .txt message came up saying something about an invalid GUID, which proves that it was a VIP hack. So no, it will not work for you, it isn't even the full hack anyways.

Secondly, people have been starting to ask about why their Combat Arms is screwing up, or their computer is starting to get infected.

I don't know if it's part of the hacks security, or is it a backdoor implemented in the files. Either way, you need to get rid of it immediately. Delete it. Scan your whole computer with an antivirus, and do a system restore.

But once again, not everyone has been reporting problems. I may be wrong.

I just did a scan, and 5 items were detected, and 5 items were quarentined, but it wont let me see what the items are, so im guessing that they are the hacks.

I appear to have gotten some kind of key logger i was playing and then magically someone logged on from a different location . could have been someone else's crappy hack though so w/e.

The "hack" itself did not contain any infections.

Neither did the "hack" download, create or modify files with malicious intent.

No idea how you can say that the .dll screws up your pc.

As I've said, I may be wrong. I was basing this off of the amount of users complaining about how heir computer was screwed up by this.

I think it was a backdoor trojan that most av programs wouldn't detect. It may have came into my computer without me knowing (NrN's hack was the only thing I got recently) and infected other files without avast detecting it. I ran several scans, and the actual hacks came up clean, but it infected TONS of other files. Mostly system files. So now I pretty much have a big black tin brick by my desk now.
