RAM dosent do anything for gaming really, you are using a notebook you cant expect good FPS you have no dedicated graphics card and you are on the lowest settings witch forces everything onto your cpu try using medium settings instead of low

Arma isn't called the PC-Killer for nothing
xnobodyshome (06-25-2013)
The only real solution would be to buy a better computer...
Is arma 3 More demanding then arma 2?
redwirelessmouse (06-25-2013)
jes out of all people to be familiar with this notorious problem, I figured you guys would =p. Arma 3 has always had FPS problems, although I heard beta had resolved some issues. Nonetheless, high quality computers such as mine ^.^ can only get about 20 FPS out of ultra in multiplayer, while some lame ass computers can run on very high with like 40 FPS. It's not your computer....its Arma. Arma 2 and 3 has always been very CPU intensive. Your best bet is to hook up a CPU that doesn't necessarily have a good amount of cores, but runs at a high speed.
Also speaking from a personal perspective, I've noticed there is a relationship between the amount of players and my fps that seems too strong...for like every 3 players I have on the server with me I lose 1-2 FPS. Hope this helped a bit ^.^

I have a similar problem. Arma is very CPU intensive I would recommend upgrading your PC
Guys if your having problems with fps what u need to is go it to your documents folder find Arma 3 Alpha and click Arma3Alpha.cfg and look for the line that says
GPU_MaxFramesAhead=
GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=
make it = to one 1
Put simply, your rig is pretty bad for gaming these days. Your processor is VERY lacking for what most games need these days and I'm assuming you have a bad GPU since I didn't see any specs posted.
