    star wars 7 and director

    everyone knows the director is jj that guy who directed lost(eww) and star trek(wtf star trek and star wars don't mix, enemies etc)
    well today i found out quentin tarantino was offered the position and refused. Fuck it would've been the best goriest star wars if he directed it. any thoughts?

    Tarantino would have ruined it with his over the top battle scenes etc. His other movies are good but for the SW role, just no. Plus Star Trek and SW are similar so the director will know what type of genre he is dealing with

    You clearly don't know jack shit about films if you think Star Wars would have benefited in the slightest with Tarantino at the helm.
