Just got VAC banned with only non-bannable things in use!

Unless your profile is publicly available or people report your account for abuse, then SAM will have had nothing to do with this.
And if you read up a little bit on VAC you'd know that it's a delayed ban, and if you used LMAOBOX, then that's likely the cause.

Be it a day or a few weeks, it doesn't matter, it's automated - has nothing to do with reports (if you're hacking), if you hacked using something they are aware of, they will ban you.

That's just how it is, and before you ask.
There is no documentation about how long the VAC-delays are.

How do I know this? I've used SAM so many times, for so many games to do quite a few things, and seeing as there is no actual game running, then VAC isn't active.
It's POSSIBLE, but highly unlikely that anyone will suffer a ban from it.

4. Premium account (If you want to waste money)

5. Steam Friends ( Have some steam friends) (unless you want to be forever alone.

6. Items. Make yourself SWAG.

7. Profile. Setup it up....

I've been using SAM For every game I own, and I haven't had any kind of ban on my account in the 2 years I've had it.

SAM doesn't cause bans. I used it ages ago to get Lvl 6 perks on Killing Floor. So you're safe with SAM.
