That's one epic resolution you got there, I wish my gfx card supported 1990x1440 or whatever it is. Mine's only at 1440x900, still pretty small though.

It is Vista, you can tell by the battery, internet activity and hotkey tray icon (it only looks wierd on Vista with a higher DPI).

im now officially dual booted with ubuntu (see previous post) and xp pro dark. i slapped an alienware skin on it =P

XP sucks ... get Vista, it supports some theme's like the one you have with nothing more than a patch, no stardock programs

but vista doesnt game as well as XP ive heard...and i put XP on for gaming only, i have Ubuntu for everything else and it looks damn good too.

Isn't linux very incompatible? And can you run exe files in a MS enviroment on Ubuntu or not? And Vista needs a good processor to get you a gaming PC ... works like 20% slower than XP and 40% slower than micro XP.

masta, ubuntu runs just about everything except things that require directx. you can get wine for certain things, but it just isnt the same with the good games like warrock and cod4 =\ ubuntu looks great, is extremely fast, and has about a 25 second boot time for me. personally i hate window$ but its the best thing available to me for gaming =S and i dont have the money to get a comp good enough for worthwhile gaming on vista.
