Hope you make friends in the military.
So basically, if all my brothers move out and I'm still stuck here because I am working a shitty dead-end job and still haven't gathered enough money for school, I am going to try and join the military.
I am nothing like a Military type of person. I'm timid, shy and I don't work out or run etc. That said, it can't be any worse than living here alone with my parents. I just need an excuse to get away from them.
I also figure I could get some relavent training and when I finish my contract I can apply for school with money and experience.
I don't know if I'll pass physical (I have two potentially disqualifying features. It is based upon severeness of the disorder and I have a very mild form of both but them in combination both attack the same body system...) and if I do this, it would be more of a cringe and deal with it experience.
Anyway, I know it sounds like a shitty idea, and it is a shitty idea. But it's the best escape for a shitty situation I figure.

There are two types of tragedies in life. One is not getting what you want, the other is getting it.
If you wake up at a different time in a different place, could you wake up as a different person?
Hope you make friends in the military.

You won't survive it there as you stated you do not workout nor are a military type.
Only losers escape, winners make their way out.
In the US military, I'm pretty sure anyone can sign up. After 9 months, if you aren't ready after they've trained you, I think they give you another 9 months. After that they just let you go because you're wasting the tax payers' money. Not sure if it's 9 months though.

Less than minmum wage to train for war - waste of tax payers money. OK. The USA has way bigger issues regarding tax money right now...
Probably not, but it's worth a shot IMO.
Lol, I am definitely not a winner right now.Only losers escape, winners make their way out.

Join the navy. There is a special program where they take you for a few years, give you money for school, and house you.
You basically work for the navy(without all the hardcore physical workouts and stuff)and they give you money, house you, and feed you.
Sounds like a good thing to me, looking at your militairy capabilities.
military isn't the way to go. It's shit you don't get payed much and when you are done or on leave you still have to find a 9 to 5 job. You also might die.

Try working in the Xbox marketing department.
Why not a freelancing dev job? I dont get it...
Light travels faster than sound. That's why most people seem bright until you hear them speak.
He would work as a recruit and earn 16k a year, without having to pay for housing, food, and transportation. All he would have to do is do some basic army training, which is not even close to hard looking at what an average mans capabilities are.
But once you go for a serious militairy carreer, I think 20k-40k is not even close to enough for what you risk.
Like who the fuck would want to die for a humble 20k.
I think the only thing that actually attracts people is the fact that they will expand their current capabilities, and earn the name of a soldier.
I'm not including the paras and special forces here. They make a shitload of money.
