Did I just majorly screw up here?

I was playing on my new Garry's Mod alt and I realized I forgot to remove the hack files from my gmod folder.
Am I fucked?

Yeah I didn't use them or open Abyss or anything I just noticed that I still had them and deleted my folder for a fresh install.

So does this mean I'm getting banned on the next wave?

Have you tried playing multiplayer? If your not banned your fine. Just don't use it for now....

Delete the hacks, reinstall Gmod. But don't do this yet OR JOIN MULTIPLAYER until someone approves that this works.

People need to stop spreading misinformation.

Nobody knows the specifics of the anticheat but you can assume that you're safe unless you bypass/use modules.

That's actually not much 1500 people, compared to 2 million, 1/4 of which could be hack users so the community will strike back soon enough to give Garry a run for his money.

i didn't even use my hacks i got on a server and then all of a sudden banned... i didn't even have them in the lua i had an injector that i still didn't use so mostly he did look through curtain files related to the game's engine

I luckily stopped hacking 2 days before the ban wave,with all the hacks in the folder,yet no ban of any kind ^.^

<3 my 4x2 gb ram with over 2.05 gb fucked up causing me bsods...lol
