I prefer it. The majority who are stepping back will be left in the past. Throughout time, man has always consistently pushed new boundaries to create a newer, more accessible world. The ones who do not utilize their own strengths to influence this world are leeches, and these leeches are useful. How are they useful? They're mindless, ignorant, pointless husks that promote every little idea no matter how stupid. Because of this, the more pointless advances are brought to light and the more important ones are focused on, as well as properly funded to continue. People who are intelligent tend to gravitate towards their own ideals of advancement, without the drones no one would have the proper support to continue their advancements, thus would not allow people to create a better future.
