3k Post ban

What is the 3k post ban usefull for? I saw Genesis got banned for this, but why?

(Dont flame because this have nothing to do with ava, im just wondering!)

They always get 1-day bans for big post-goals. Like 1k, 1337, 2k, 3k, 4k, 5k, and 10k. (I think.)
