    Throwing together a secondary build.

So I'm throwing together a cheap secondary build, and this is what I've got so far:
    Mobo: Asus M5A97
    Processor: AMD FX-6300
VC: Asus GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB( 2x4GB)1600 mHZ
    PSU: SeaSonic S12II 520W
    HDD: Seagate Barracuda 500GB
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
    Case: NZXT Tempest 410

Keep in mind that this is simply a cheap build I need.
I think I've got a pretty damn good setup for the price range, which is $600.

Actually found some new deals, and switched to a Corsair CX 600 Watt PSU.
Dropped the price to $584, and yet somehow I actually managed to upgrade in the process.

Upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate, bumped the HDD to 1TB, and switched to a Tempest 410 Elite case rather than a standard 410.
Also decided to add more cooling with a CM Hyper 212 Evo. Only went $10 over budget in all.

    Mobo: Asus M5A97
    Processor: AMD FX-6300 Hexa-Core 4.1 GHz OC.
VC: Asus GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB( 2x4GB)1600 mHZ
    PSU: Corsair CX 600 Watt
    HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
Cooling: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit
    Case: NZXT Tempest 410 Elite

That's crazy for $600. Would be a decent pickup.

Wasn't in my price range, though I definitely would've picked it up.
The 8350 is quite possibly the best dollar-per-dollar CPU I've ever used.

Pretty decent build you got there. I'm thinking about investing in a mini-ITX PC for server hosting (FourDeltaOne hosting, and other dedicated server games) and connecting a NAS to that and my desktop. Probably will feature a similar build.
    THE ABSOLUTE GREATEST

In this price range it's a very good build... The FX-Series might not be the best for gaming, but they are damm cheap

Strange that you say that as I've had nothing but great experiences with the Higher-End FX series, even in gaming. In all actuality, I've got better performance with the 8350 than most of the i3 line and even some of the i5.

Certainly true... I'm also getting great performance out of my FX-8350. If you compare the 8350 to the other (Intel) chips within the same price range, it will for sure own them all. It also offers you great multitasking performance.

The mistake AMD made was that they priced themselves out of the market during the launch of the bulldozer series. They didn't deliver enough gaming performance when you compared them to for instance the I5/I7 even though they were priced quite expensive those days. But now it's all fine to get an AMD, Cheap CPU's with a lot of performance for it's price... Still, if you're looking for a very high-end gaming platform and you don't care about your wallet you could buy the I7
