You can still use it...but it is too risky.
Hey all,
Please tell me what you think. Recently I installed a private firewall which I believe is pretty aggressive, it constantly has windows pop-up either asking me to allow permission to certain sites or warning me of "suspicious behavior," the firewall does this enough that it is annoying and I was considering uninstalling it. About the same I installed the firewall I joined this site and started using fuckhook the latest version on an old bf3 account. I didnt care about getting the account banned so I used it indiscriminately for about a week, then a curious thing started to happen, my aforementioned firewall started giving me warnings that PunkBuster was trying to access my program files, I told the software to block PB. Now, if I deny PB access I get kicked off the server for "losing packets 9005" which appears to be happening at an increasing rate. Anyway, I believe my firewall saved stopped PB from detecting my hack! I can still use it even though it has been detected but, as I said I get the boot for denying PB access on occasion. What do you guys think?

Maybe PB needs to edit your file to ban you?
And you blocked that process?

What firewall do you use?
Nice
what firewall do you use a might give it a shot
PB screenshot blocks is serious. Blocking it, puts your name on the list for hackers by default. They flag your profile and log everything. The game servers use the database to update who to block.
I am using ZoneAlarm, it is free. It alerts you when PB is trying to communicate with your computer and gives you the choice to allow or deny access. I know I must have been flagged for some reason because the PB attempts to access my system became more and more frequent, to the point it was very annoying. I eventually allowed PB access for a few days (with no hacking going on) and it seems like once it checked out my system it started leaving me alone again.
