With Florida's self defense laws Zimmerman is not guilty, if he were in any other state however he would be fucked beyond belief. It's not like Treyvon was a good kid, he was extremely violent in his text messages (ridiculous they won't allow those in the case), I mean he talked about fighting and buying a gun through texting, the kid was definitely not just an innocent kid being murdered.

Prosecutors brought up manslaughter because they have no definitive proof that it was 2nd degree murder. Not a single positive shred of evidence against him.

You obviously have little to no working knowledge of how the US Justice System operates.
To obtain a conviction, it needs to be proven beyond reasonable doubt that the crime was committed in the exact way put forth by the law. There is a hell of a lot of doubt in this case, and therefore it's hanging on the edge of literally impossible for a Murder conviction.

Can't agree with you more. What do you think will happen. For me it's either 2nd degree or manslaughter. Can't tell but that kid wasn't an angel either.
