Suggestion : Subscribe/Follow/Stalk
You should be able to "follow/subscribe to" people, e.g. coders you like, or generally people you like, and you would get a notification of every new thread they create. (not every post, as that's a notification spamfest)
There's a limit, like only being able to follow people with 1K+ posts.
CS's can't follow/be followed.
You can block people from following you.
On your profile (or summary to the left, in that case it would only be the amount) it could show who is following you (or the amount of people), and who you are following (or the amount of people).
People would get notified of any new hack released by their favorite coder, enabling them to get in the action quicker.
You can follow a friend, to be able to stay up-to-date with what's happening around him daily on MPGH.
People could strive to earning "followers" by making daily updates, posting MPGH news daily, anything like that.
I was just messing around with the idea, decided to post it and see what you guys think about it
