What class is the best?

1 v 1 : i use evolved shaman, good for soloing boss
8 v 8 : i think vindicator of they is good for 8v8

Chunin for everything. It is a beast in 1v1. Great in 8v8 because of its AoE skills and it can solo tough bosses with Health Vamp.

well so far i've tried using evolved shaman in 1 vs 1 and so far its awesome (i use it when farming), and sometimes i use Necro in 1 vs 1 and in soloing a boss.
And is Thief of Hours nice to use in 1vs1???

ToH is okay i guess
VoT my favourite for 1v1 although you cant get it anymore...
Pyromancer is great for both 8v8 and 1v1
Best for 8v8 tho is chunin or troll class

ToH isn't that good for 1v1, since it's a stacking class. Others will have killed you before the stacks reach the targeted amount.
