Nothing. If they thought they were capable of making a worthy sequel they would already be doing it. If they thought they wouldn't be able to then I'm not going to try and force them to make an inferior product.
His point was that they would already be in the process of creating it if they indeed had the ability. Valve are not a company to rush games, and will usually only release a project if they truly believe it is the greatest they could have achieved. Half-Life 3 would have massive shoes to fill considering the critical and commercial success of HL,HL2, and all the episodes. If they released anything less than a virtually perfect game, the entire consumer video game market would be polarized. Which could cause more harm than it's worth

You were seeking strength, justice, splendour.
You were seeking love.
Here is the pit, here is your pit.

Absolutely nothing. I've never been compelled to finish any Half Life games

I would do simply nothing because i am not interested enough to look up how the game even looks like or how the gameplay is.

The question isn't what I'd do for it to happen, the question is, what would it do for me.
Gabe can suck a dick, I've been waiting about fucking 8 years now.
Half life, half life 2, ep1, ep2, ep3(FUCK YOU GABE), Half Life 3 (No? Fuck you again)
I agree, don't rush it, but all in all.
At least he can do is fucking mention it so we know if we should give up or not.
