Bordelands 2 Modded items / Weapons disappearing

I was just wondering if anyone knew how to fix modded items from disappearing , since i would like to go online with them but as i take them out of my bank and save my game poof its gone , i know theres a solution to fix this since i see so many people go online with them , so someone who knows a solution please reply back on this thread,

Put them back in the bank before quitting the game.

You have to put them back in the bank before you save.
