[TUT] Basic Cheat Engine tutorial for begginers

Well he is a very basic and unoriginal tutorial to find a basic adress in Cheat Engine. I will show you how to find the adress for your time in minesweeper and freeze it at 1 so you will always get a hi score. I know that doing that is basically pointless but once you know how to find a basic address like this you can find better things like the amount of ammo you have in a game or how much life you have ect.

STEP 1

Open CE and minesweeper.



STEP 2

Go to the highlighted box and choose the winmine.exe process.



STEP 3

Do a scan for the value 0



STEP 4

Now go to minesweeper an play until you die.




STEP 5

Do a INCREASED VALUE BY scan for the total time there was (since my time was 61 I did the scan for 61)



STEP 6 [OPTIONAL]

IF you didn't get 1 value after that last scan repeat the process until you get one scan (sorry no screenies for this cuz I got it on my first try)


STEP 7

Double click the adress to bring it to the lower menu



STEP 8

Double click the value and change it to 1 than click the frozen box to make sure it will never go higher than 1.



STEP 8

Now start a new game of monesweeper and make sure the time never goes to 2 if it stays at 1 then you know it worked.




There you go now what you should do id find a simple fps game and try freezing your ammo so you have unlimited ammo. Who know I might make a tut for that too.

Dang, i was hoping for something harder xD i can easily do that, but i wanna know what to do to search for stuff in CA coz i dunno what i should start looking for. can u tell me something fairly easy to start with???

Hmm well idk I haven't touched CA yet cuz its too much of a hastle but try doing shit on fps's like crysis, any unreal tournament game. If your not very experienced try hacking UT99 that's pretty easy but once you can get a simple value like that you vant get most needed values.
