It has come to my attention that, I HATE THIS FUCKING COMPANY AND THE SHIT THEY CALL WIRELESS. I cant play AVA with less than 700 ping.i used to have att but had to switch since they dont cover where i moved to. does any1 know if air runner is good since thats the only other service provider i can get.

Satellite latency is the absolute worst; it's generally so outrageously high you won’t be able to maintain a server connection for things like online gaming. Satellite Internet service is best for surfing the web and text-based communications. Beyond that, you're out of luck.

apparently the top execs for internet companies were holding secret meetings to raise prices but lower coverage/speeds


youre going to tell me i live less than an hour and a half from Sillicon Valley and yet I still get worse speeds than 70% of the US? Yeah, thats bullshit.
I also live less then 2 hours from where gasoline is shipped in from overseas and transported, but gas prices are higher here than if I go a few hours north?

not bad, but there was a time where it was practically $2 cheaper a gallon to drive an hour north just to get gas

You won't ever be able to network game with satellite, the latency between bouncing 4 times between the earth and a satellite takes it's toll.

Your best bet is hoping an ISP will lay down fiber to your location, though it can be expensive.
