    yea SAO is great, but only the first half. second was not so good but it grows on you if you watch it 6 times or so ( really use to like SAO XD )

    Watch the Gundam series. They aren't in any order, but in the the different series they use some of the characters again but with different names and they act different.

    Mobile suit gundam 00 (By far the best one)
    Mobile suit gundam unicorn (By far the second best one)
    Mobile suit gundam seed (By far the third best one)

    Just go on my anime list and check out the top anime. Sure a lot of them aren't very much like sao but they're good watches. I also know accel world is set in the same universe and sao is like 10 years behind accel world. So its like a sequel.
