    Sound card problem

My Alienware M14x R2 that comes with a Creative CT9570 (or something like that) sound card, and once in a while Windows will say that there is no audio output device detected. So I decided to uninstall and reinstall the drivers but when I tried to reinstall it said that there is no supported device found. Help please?

*I downloaded the correct driver installer for my sound card, and I've updated my BIOS.
Click the 'Thanks' button at the bottom right if I helped you in some way or if you're a good person looking to thank me for no reason

I'm not sure on a solution.
Although i would reccomend factory reset through the Alienware W7 OEM.
That way it should re-install all required drivers for the soundcard etc.
I Would just backup what you need on a pendrive or external drive

If that did'nt work, perhaps it has moved, or it has a problem, could be also that it's burned, either way look on device administrator and check for sound cards, perhsaps it's disable there, or it has a conflict of drivers

Hmm .. I'm guessing, it is a plug and play right? Maybe it has a conflict on the drivers, check for the unknown possibilities. External: Rusted, old wire, dusty.
Hope you can fix it ..
    PEACE
