Yes, nosteam version is problem.
I made it for normal version(official 4D1/OP2 patch).

I haven't tryed but edited BLOPS 2 awhile back with chezter65 and some others, When changing rank and/or prestige we were getting server disconnect errors. Try looking for a trainer that "builds" xp from completing really easy challenges. (Preset to were you only need one kill for 10,000 exp etc) The server disconnect errors are only fixed by returning your stats to what they were or resetting. As im master prestige again im not willing to try for you. But, i recommend super xp trainers make sure they are the UP-TO-DATE version trainer that matches game version.

As @deadfishy said, you'd get Server DC error..
You can use 80K XP Trainer or Individuality Tranier(~20 challenges x 5k/10k XP).
